The Biotech Ecosystem Catalyst

Fostering collaboration, inspiring innovation, and accelerating the translation of scientific advancements into solutions that address pressing global challenges.

2025 Year in Review

2025 marked a turning point for BioInnovation Greece. What began as a grassroots initiative became a nationally recognized catalyst for biotech and health-tech entrepreneurship, connecting research, policy, founders, investors, and the global Greek diaspora.

Key milestones included expanding the core team and formal Board, launching BioSTART (Greece’s first proof-of-concept program) and designing its national fellowship model.

The BioInnovation Greece Forum 2025 at Technopolis hosted 580 participants and 167 speakers from 19 countries, alongside a landmark policy announcement on a future Ministry of Research and Development. The Forum concluded with the first BioSTART Competition.

2026 is underway with scale and execution as the focus.
